Core Capabilities

Unified Multi-Cloud Cost Visibility See all your cloud spending — Azure, AWS, GCP, Heroku, Kubernetes, and more — aggregated into a single dashboard with per-service, per-account, and cross-provider breakdowns. Anomaly Detection Cost Optix uses rolling Z-score and adaptive statistical algorithms to detect abnormal spending patterns at the service level, not just account totals. Alerts fire before your bill surprises you. Budget Management Set budgets per account or provider, define warning (80%) and critical (95%) thresholds, and receive real-time alerts via Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, or any custom webhook. AI-Powered Insights Get natural-language cost optimization recommendations powered by AI, tailored to your actual spending patterns and cloud resource usage. Webhook Notifications Integrate cost alerts into your existing workflows. Cost Optix supports Slack, Microsoft Teams (Workflow and Legacy), Discord, and custom HTTP endpoints.

Architecture Overview

Cost Optix is a SaaS platform hosted at costoptix.com. Your cloud provider credentials are stored securely, and cost data is fetched on a scheduled basis using a three-tier caching strategy (Redis → local database → live provider API) to keep your dashboard fast and up to date. For Kubernetes clusters, an optional lightweight agent can be deployed directly inside your cluster to collect real-time metrics without exposing your kubeconfig to external services.
Cost Optix is available on four subscription tiers: Starter, Professional, Business, and Enterprise. Some features — including SSO — are available on Business and Enterprise tiers only. See Subscription Tiers for a full comparison.
